REACH at Spencer Van Etten (SVE) started recently in January 2008. REACH at SVE is a great opportunity to grow as a leader and educator because the program enables you to have the opportunity to actually impact youth ages 10-14 through various chances to work on various topics.
The tutoring component of REACH at SVE provides you with the chance to work during regular school hours or after school. Tutors have worked in a variety of subjects and extra curricular activities, such as special education, math, science, general homework assistance, and drama club.
One of greatest reasons to join the Spencer Van Etten team is the great communication with the staff and students. If you want to start a program for the children that opportunity is very possible.
